A set of six antique Italian rococo-style red-lacquered dining chairs, late 19th century, probably Venetian, each with a shaped top-rail above the waisted open back with pierced splat, all well carved with foliate and rocaille decoration, the leather-covered drop-in seat (distressed) raised on boldly-shaped cabriole front legs with a low H-form stretcher, the carved details with traces of gilding. Height 116 cm. Width 59 cm. Depth 58 cm
