A pair of 18th century ormolu mounted Sevres cassolettes. The bleu de roi porcelain bodies hand painted with gold leaf, outlined vignettes with romantic scenes and figures, the reverse decorated with landscape scenes, fitted with ornate ormolu mask head handles to sides and the reversible candle sconces fitted with pineapple finials to the covers. Height 28 cm
