Antique Chinese armorial plate decorated with gilded silver arrows on blue enamel bands, the arms of Samler impaling Shaw. Motto 'Pax et copia' c.1795. Some wear and signs of use. Note: Howards Chinese armorial porcelain records this armorial in volume 2, page 710. The motto translates as 'Peace and plenty'. Diameter 24.7 cm
