Description:
Three antique/vintage Chinese porcelain side plates of differing sizes, each beautifully decorated with central blue and green enamelled Imperial five clawed dragons, on a bright yellow ground; all within an elaborate 'Frog spawn' and leiwen ('thunder pattern' border. Stamped CHINA mark (obligatory on imports to America after 1891), underneath. Sizes: diameter 15, 19 & 25 cm. These side plates are considered to early Republic and best quality export pieces of the period
