A rare and early English provincial Apostle spoon made in Exeter, c.1685, the apostle finial with discoid nimbus, traditionally depicted with a flowing robe and traces of original gilding. 17th century pricked initials 'S.E.' and date '1695' to back of bowl and 18th century scroll engraved presentation initials to back of stem. Weight 43gms. Length 18.2 cm
