A Shorthose botanical painted pearlware dessert dish, circa 1805, elliptical with raised centres to the long sides, the base of the interior painted in the illustrative manner with a single woodbine flower on a leafy stem, the rim brown, impressed 'S' and the plant name painted in red underside. Height 6.5 cm. Width 29 cm.
