A Chinese export silvered brass tea pot, late 19th century, the compressed cylindrical pot with a swing handle and a domed cover with guardian lion finial, each side of the pot decorated in relief with scenes of cranes in landscapes, the cover with inscriptions within opposed cartouches, an incised inscription to one side of the pot and a cast character mark to its underside. Height 19.5 cm (with handle not raised)
