A Satsuma earthenware vase, of gourd shape raised from a circular spreading foot, decorated in raised enamels and gilt with prunus blossom, butterflies and chrysanthemum, gilded handles moulded as gourds issue from the shoulder. Character marks in red painted under the foot. Height 24 cm
