Description:
Russian silver gilt and enamel Imperial period Cossack belt 1899-1908. Very impressive Cossack belt designed as a line of twin dome links to a central oval scallop shaped panel clasp secured by a scimitar, all richly decorated with coloured polychrome enamels, clasp marked with 84 zolotnik mark for St Petersburgh 1899-1908 with maker's mark AD in Cyrillic, each of the twin dome links bear the same maker's mark together with a circular diadem head and assayer's mark. Silversmith could possibly be Aleksandr Vasilbev Domin, assayer could possible be Yakov Lyapunov, excellent condition. Length 71 cm
