A carved 'Longquan' celadon dish, Ming Dynasty 15th century, the interior freely carved with two curling lotus stems within radiating lotus sprigs on the petal-moulded cavetto, repeated on the exterior, within the barbed everted rim, covered overall in a thick celadon glaze leaving an unglazed ring inside the footrim burnt orange in the firing, box 40.3 cm.
