A large Chinese porcelain vase of swollen square section, each wall decorated with a panel depicting four sages accompanied by children in landscape, each panel reserved on a ground decorated with a profusion of flowers on a turquoise background, a lappet panel design decorates the foot, square scroll and lappet frieze encircles the neck, the square mouth decorated with a square fret pattern in underglaze blue. Red four character mark under the base. Height 39.5 cm
