A fine pair of 19th century French bronze figural lamp Standards cast, after the model by Charles-Georges Ferville Suan, cast in the form of a standing male and his female companion dressed in traditional costume, each with one arm raised supporting torcheres with an opalescent glass shade, raised on a chamfered rectangular plinth and an ebonised base, signed to the plinth base, 131 cm total height including the shade.
