A George II black lacquered Chinoiserie long case clock the dial signed Isaac Papavoine, Suffolk Street, London, circa 1700, with an eight day bell strike movement with an anchor escapement, the silvered Roman numeral chapter, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar within a brass surround, housed in a case painted with scenes depicting figures in a garden, the casement door with a glazed lenticle, 216 cm high.
