A Georgian Bureau Bookcase in mahogany. The fall of the bureau with incised carving 'Blessed are the peacemakers for they should be called the children of God'. The fall opens to reveal a well laid out interior with pigeon holes, drawers and a centre locking cupboard flanked by two fluted columns and with a concealed compartment. The top has a two doored cupboard with chamfered panels under a broken porcelain shaped pediment with central turned urn. Standing on ogee shaped feet. Replacement brass handles. Circa 1800.
