An Early 20th Century Rare Sextant by Carey of London in very original condition, the brass frame japanned with a silvered scale on the brass arc, the index arm with magnifier and vernier, adjustable tangent screw and clamp, seven shades and mirrors, adjustable telescope socket, the fitted dove-tailed mahogany box with accessories, complete except for the key and engraved G.H Moore R.N. Provenance; Moore served as midshipman aboard Height M.S. 'Queen Elizabeth' 1925.
