William Merric Boyd (Act, circa 1908-1944) Victoria, dated 1937 an earthenware vase of waisted cylindrical form, with a branch handle, painted with a rural scene and with further sgraffito details, incised to base Merric Boyd, Altamira Ware, 1937, 17 cm high. Note: Altamira pottery in Murrumbeena was established by Hatton Beck, husband of Lucy Boyd and later sold to Arthur Merric Bloomfield Boyd in 1944.
