A Ming style blue and white 'Lotus' dish, Qing Dynasty 18th century well potted with rounded sides springing from a short tapering foot, the interior painted in rich cobalt blue with a ribboned lotus bouquet in a central medallion encircled by a composite floral meander below a band of formal scrolls around the rim, the underside with a similar floral meander, the base unglazed revealing the pale buff ware, wood stand, box (2) 27.
