An important Victorian silver dish and cover, Hunt and Roskell, London 1852 made for the Russian Imperial family, the cover bearing the crest with letter 'M', this was possibly part of a service commissioned for the grand Duke Mikhail Nikol'vich the last born Son of Emperor Nicholas I of Russian and the Empress Charlotte of Prussia, the other crest is of Imperial Russia with St George killing the dragon, the cover and base are elaborately decorated with floral and leaf motif, on scroll feet 2055GMS, 30 cm diameter
