Other Notes The 'Non-Stop Robot' or 'Lavender Robot' was made by Japanese manufacturer Masudaya in the 1950s and is easily identified due to its unusual colour. It was the 2nd in a series of 5 battery operated tinplate robots made by Masudaya from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. The group are commonly known as the 'Gang of Five' to collectors and are highly sought after. While all share the same skirted body and impressive size, each differs in colour and the actions that it performs.
