A pair of pewter comport stands. French, late 19th century, each modelled as a fruiting grape vine, the circular support on a shaft styled as vine branches on a three-pointed base, decorated with grape bunches and leaves and the remains of naturalistic colouring throughout. Height 23.5 cm.
