A French Louis XV-style gilt and silvered metal mantel clock. Ducasse Claveau & Co., Paris, the movement by Japy Freres, third quarter 19th century. Bell striking, the white-enamelled Roman numeral dial within an upright rectangular case surmounted with two silvered putti and decorated with sculptural reliefs and foliate decoration. Height 32.5 cm. Width 27.5 cm. Depth 11 cm.
