A Chinese Hotan (Hetian) large jade bowl, hand carved with a pair of Imperial dragons opposed either side of a mystic pearl, detailed in gilt, the exterior with a sinuous Imperial dragon opposed to a ho-oh (phoenix) to either side of a mystic pearl and with four lines of calligraphic inscription. Gilt detail, raised on short cylindrical foot, pale/mid-green colourway with pale cloud form inclusions typical of the Hotan jade type. Diameter 27 cm height 97. Certificate available.
