A rare peach-bloom glazed porcelain 'Willow-Leaf' vase (LiuyeZun), marked inside the deep foot ring with a blue six character Qing Dynasty, Kangxi mark and probably of the period (1664-1722) of slender, high-shouldered form with a tall neck and flaring mouth, tapering to an unglazed foot, the foot ring deeply sunk into the body, the glaze of speckled red suffused with pale yellow-green, at the mouth. From the prescribed group of eight similarly glazed objects to make a set for a Chinese scholar's table. Raised on specific fitted wooden stand a.f. and cased in a fitted wooden box with glazed lid. Height excluding stand 15 cm
