William K Reid, William IV sterling silver wine jug or ewer, London 1836, modelled with a finial in the form of a mountain ram standing four square on grape leaves, leading to a scrolled acanthus leaf handle, the inverted melon shaped body capped with fern leaves and other foliage, the lobed hexagonal spreading foot with raised scalloped motifs.
