Joseph Margus, George I Britannia Standard Silver Octagonal Tea Pot on Stand, London c. 1720, Bearing the Date Mark for 1717, Having a waisted bulbous knop, leading to the domed hinged lid, and scrolled treen handle, fitted to one side, having a serpentine hinged spout, and globular facetted body, resting on a stepped mouth of the stand and four stylised scrolled legs with applied treen button feet, united by ankle supports centred with the original burner, height 23 cm.
