A superb and rare set of c.1830 percussion officer’s pistols, 18 bore, by George Clough & Sons, retaining all blue finish on metal parts, original Damascus browned barrels with gold point coin on barrel flats, the percussion locks with fine engraving and signed by the maker, in unfired condition and of an early date for percussion pistols. In original fitted flame mahogany case with original flask, bullet mould, set of turned-screws with pin-prick on top of one, two push/cleaning rods, bone oil bottle, bone brush, Japanned percussion nipple tin with nipples, lead round bullets to flask, blue baize lined case with original key and trade label to interior lid.
