A French Empire cherry wood comtoise clock, early 19th century, signed Crevier à St Saëns, the enamelled Roman numeral dial, also showing days with a calendar hand, within a typical repousse brass frame, the glazed hood with a moulded cornice and flanking columns with brass terminals, the conforming trunk with a glazed door showing the polished brass pendulum.
