Rare 19th century Thomas Humber Penny Farthing Bicycle circa 1880, saddle spring with brass sliding mechanism at rear and engraved ''the Humber' Humber, Marriot & Cooper Makers, Nottingham', fully restored, re-spoked, all metal parts repainted or nickeled apart from bronze hubs, saddle pan leather replaced, tyres replaced, in excellent riding condition 52in Provenance: Discovered in South Australia other notes Humber were one of the finest and largest English makers of bicycles of the 1870-1880 era.
