A Royal Crown Derby porcelain lidded urn, painted by Cuthbert Gresley with a scene of the ruins of Newark Castle, Scotland. Ovoid shape raised on a circular spreading foot with gilded handles to the sides and with a domed cover surmounted by a gilt finial, the oval landscape scene reserved in a panel on a cobalt blue ground decorated with gilt leaf designs, c. 1900. Height 25.5 cm
