A 19th century Russian icon, the traditional hand painted mother and child panel with an ornate embossed silver oklad with a sunburst section surrounding the heads, all within an embossed gilt floral and reeded frame within a further ebonised frame with velvet slip, under glass, the silver oklad with embossed maker's initials and '84' zolotnik mark. 17 x 16 cm
