A French Empire-style white marble portico mantel clock Vincent et Cie, circa 1860, the works marked 'Vincent et Cie/Medaille d'Argent 1855' and with another stamp, bell striking, the enamelled Roman numeral dial with foliate ormolu bezel within an open four-columned Doric portico showing the elaborately-cast ormolu Ellicott-type pendulum, the pendulum driving an ormolu sunburst with mask face within a tympanum atop the portico, the whole on a finely carved plinth base on bun feet. Height 55 cm. Width 27 cm. Depth 16 cm
