A Chinese blue and white dish, 1488-1505, Early Ming Dynasty, Hongzhi. Painted with a central peony medallion, surrounded by flower heads, each within a shaped cartouche on a diaper ground dispersed with clouds and florets, the outside cavetto with a continuous stylized floral scroll, good colour and glaze, Jingdezhen kilns. 31.7 cm diameter.
