Description:
An Early Chinese Limestone Fragmentary Torso, Probably Northern Qi (550-577). The body subtly rendered, with minor traces of pigment. 41 cm high, metal mounted base. Provenance: Melbourne private collection; acquired by a Professor of Art History in Italy and brought to Melbourne in the early 1970?s, and passed on by descent to the current owner.
