Description:
A Chinese Canton enamel yellow-ground saucer-dish, 1736-1795, Qianlong mark and period. Decorated on the interior and exterior with five bats amongst lotus scrolls, original copper mounts, blue enamel seal mark. 16 cm diameter. Provenance: private Queensland collection; old BADA label to base. See 'Auspicious Emblems', Min Chu Society exhibition, Hong Kong 2006, no 89 for an almost identical example
