A bronze silver inlaid tripod incense burner, Qing Dynasty, after Shi Sou, the compressed globular body supported by three legs with cloud motif, two large lion-mask loose-ring handles to the sides, the upper rim decorated with a band of hui pattern, the front and back inlaid with silver of stylised phoenixes on polished bronze, the base incised ribbed with mark, (Shi Sou). NoteShi Sou was a monk during, the late Ming Dynasty, famous for making bronze vessels with silver inlaid, these vessels usually were scholars' implements, baring his signature at the bottom
