A pair of Canton 'Famille-Rose' moon flasks, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, a pair of Canton 'Famille-Rose' moon flasks, Qing Dynasty, 19th century each of flattened circular form, standing on a high slightly splayed foot and surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck, the shoulders set with two gilt dragon loop handles, the sides brightly enamelled with a pair of peacocks perched on rockwork, and birds and butterflies in flight among fruiting and flowering plants in a central medallion, with similar vignettes on the neck and foot, all reserved on a gilt ground strewn with butterflies and flowers, the domed cover with gilt lion knop, wood stands (6) 55 cm.
