A flambe-glazed vase, Fanghu, Qing Dynasty, 18th century, of archaic bronze form, the pear-shaped body of rectangular section rising from a short straight foot, set at the shoulders with a pair of lug handles and moulded with a large peach-shaped panel to either side, covered overall in a rich crimson glaze streaked in lavender blue and thinning to buff tones at the edges 30 cm
