A Scottish rosewood cased two-day ship's chronometer, the dial signed Alexr. Dobbie, maker to the Admiralty, Clyde place Glasgow, last quarter 19th century, the square brass capped case with a hinged cover opening to an internal glazed cover, the spring detent escapement fusee movement housed within a brass gimbal, 18 x 19 x 17.5 cm.
