A rare World War I album of the Royal flying Corps and Australian flying Corps in Mesopotamia and India, the owner was a New Zealand officer – presumably a pilot, with this small band of men. He is at this stage unidentified however the numbers of NZers serving in this area at the time was minimal so it is likely that he can be identified from his portrait images in the album, the photographs include portraits, local scenes and planes – many are annotated in the album (none annotated verso), the album is in complete condition
