Description:
An English 18th century mahogany longcase clock with moon phase. Maker Philip Lloyd Bristol, circa 1775, the broken pediment over an arched door flanked by columns, a long door flanked by canted pilasters and a square panelled base with bracket feet, the silvered arch dial high tide with moon phase eight day anchor escapement, striking on a bell. Height 240 cm. Width 50 cm. Depth 24 cm. Provenance: purchased from David Gibson antique furniture and Clocks. 2 Beaufort West London Road bathSales Invoice 188 and dated 26 October 1989
