Description:
A fine quality Chinese porcelain museum copy of a Qing Dynasty dao and cover. Egg yolk yellow glazed, of hemispherical form raised on a generous circular spreading foot and stem and with a conforming cover, the cover decorated with lappet and square fret designs, the bowl and stem with cloud and stylised character motifs along with sinuous contour lines. Impressed Daoguang six character seal plaque mark under the foot. Height 27 cm
