A hand knotted wool pile rug, Isphahan style, decorated with a central floral medallion, framed by entwined floral tendrils on a dark indigo field. The medallion repeated as quarters in the quadrants, all framed by a palmette border with russet background. Signed in the guard. 231 x 133 cm
