A large Japanese hexagonal koro Late Meiji period (1868-1912), the six sided waisted form displays figurative cartouches to front and verso set within a cobalt blue and gilt ground flanked to each side by shishi headed handles and to the top a low domed pierced cover with a foliate finial, stamped to base, 27 cm high.
