A Victorian mother of pearl inlaid tea caddy, circa 1860, the sarcophagus shaped caddy inlaid with mother of pearl throughout to the exterior in a chequered and blocked fashion and edged with abalone shell, opening to reveal the original fitted interior with twin lids also of chequered mother of pearl inlay, 19.5 cm wide.
