Description:
A George III period silver coffee pot with a baluster shaped body raised on a circular spreading foot with gadrooned moulding. The domed hinged lid with a similarly gadrooned rim, and neo-classical urn finial, the spout with acanthus capping and mouldings. London 1768, by Jacob Marsh or John Moore (an unregistered mark attributed by Grimwade, page 260). Height 30 cm.
