Three polychrome ivory fruit carvings, late Meiji period, naturalistically carved, comprising an apple, the hollowed interior with a figure seated beneath a pine tree beside a stream, the exterior stained pink, signed Ko; a mandarin enclosing a similar scene of fishermen, signed Shoko; and a banana with skin peeled back to reveal the fleshy interior, the skin stained yellow, unsigned (3) 5.
