A pair of Doucai bowls, Qing Dynasty, Yongzheng period, each painted on the exterior with two iron-red carp swimming among overlapping green crested waves encircling the base, a flowering cherry tree growing from underglaze-blue rocks rising at one side, the branches extending over the sides, below a scalloped band of clouds beneath the rim, the interior with a central cherry tree medallion, underglaze-blue line borders, the base with apocryphal Chenghua marks (2) 14.
