Together with two other H.G.Wells books - ‘The First Men in the Moon’ [London, 1901] & ‘Phoenix - A Summary of the Inescapable Conditions of World Reorganisation’ [London, 1942]. Aspley Cherry-Garrard (1886-1959) was an English explorer of Antarctica. He was a survivor on the Terra Nova Expedition and is acclaimed for his historical account of this expedition, ‘The Worst Journey in the World’
