Number plate for West Coast rail diesel locomotive 'B61' cast brass with raised numbers 'B61', on black painted background, some nicks, paint loss and wear commensurate with age 29 cm high, 69.5 cm wide, 1.7 cm deep. Other Notes: This plate is rumoured to have been damaged when B61 hit a bridge during the Laverton speed derailment in 1976. B61 completed many trips on Wcr and before that several million miles in the service of the Victorian Government.
