Two discharge certificates, Thomas Moss a musician in the band of the 1st New Jersey. He is described as thirty five years 5' 7' in height, dark complexion hazel eyes light hair at time of enlistment his occupation was a weaver, served for 8th July 1861 - until 16th February 1862. Daniel Taylor drum Major in the Band 44th Regiment of New York Volunteers, Served from 16th October 1861 until 7th April 1862, discharged by surgeons ticket of disability suffering form Rheumation.
